Gas Cylinder Recycling and Disposal
Gas cylinder recycling and disposal is a specialized service offered by Chemical Analytics, Inc. Gas cylinders and lecture bottles of gases pose unique concerns in identification, handling, transportation, sampling and disposition. With more than 20 years experience in handling gases, Chemical Analytics, Inc. has the knowledge and expertise to manage your surplus compressed gas cylinder and lecture bottle inventory.
Chemical Analytics, Inc. provides a broad range of services involving compressed gas cylinders. The services offered include but are not limited to the following:
Packaging, if needed ;
Transportation;
Disposal;
Recycling unwanted inventories; and
Identification of Unknowns .
The ability of Chemical Analytics, Inc. to identify unknown cylinders and to offer recycling options differentiates us from other companies in the waste management industry. By utilizing our FTIR and our extensive data base of spectra, compressed gas cylinders or lecture bottles with unknown or questionable content can be identified or confirmed. After the contents are identified, the cylinder can be recycled or disposed.

During our many years handling gas cylinders, Chemical Analytics, Inc. has partnered with numerous companies that, provided we have confirmed or identified their contents, have agreed to utilize the gases as a product. Compressed gas cylinders and lecture bottles removed from your facility for recycle are shipped on a "bill of lading", not a "hazardous waste manifest".

Recycling your gas cylinders takes a potential waste material and makes it a product. Recycling is encouraged by the EPA, assists your company in achieving its waste minimization goals and demonstrates a commitment to resource conservation.
