"WE LEAVE NO WASTE"
Lab Packing Services
Chemical Analytics, Inc. specializes in managing lab packs. We have been a provider of
lab packing services for greater than 25 years. In the past few years, many waste
management companies have added lab pack services as part of their waste management
options. Often the lab pack crews used by these companies are subcontracted. Chemical
Analytics, Inc. will never subcontract your lab pack services. Lab packing has always
been the core business of Chemical Analytics, Inc.
With greater than 25 years of lab packing experience, we will provide unparalled service.
Our lab pack field crews are safety conscious and time efficient. They are trained to
handle any of the chemicals that you may have for disposal. Reactive cyanides & sulfides,
water reactives, pyrophorics, nitrogen bearing compounds, and peroxide forming
chemicals are routinely managed.
Your unwanted small containers of waste and unwanted chemicals will be sorted and
segregated per DOT hazard class, packaged in UN specification containers that will be
labeled and marked to DOT and RCRA requirements. All the required documentation for
shipping the waste will be prepared for your review and subsequent signature. The lab
packs will be transported in Chemical Analytics, Inc. waste hauling vehicles to our Part B
treatment and storage facility in Romulus, Michigan. Subsequent disposal will be at
licensed and insured facilities.
Since our facility is permitted to handle all RCRA and State of Michigan hazardous
wastes except radioactives and our field crews are prepared to manage all waste types,
we can say "We Leave No Waste". All wastes will be removed on the day that service is
completed.
Unknowns
The accumulation of small containers of waste and unwanted chemicals that are
inadequately marked for identification are a common occurrence. We are prepared to
manage your unknown small containers in a cost efficient manner. Chemical Analytics,
Inc. will manage your small containers of unknowns under the sample exclusion rule
found in 40 CFR § 261.4(d). A shipping name will be assigned per the protocol outlined in
49 CFR § 172.101(c)(11). The samples will be packaged in UN specification containers,
labeled and shipped to our facility for characterization. The sample and its residuals from
testing will be managed as part of CAI's laboratory waste.
